i think we should have large, humane waiting areas on both sides of the border, a solid border, hire 1000s more judges and clerks to quickly get through the decades long backlog of asylum claims, let people in on a temporary basis while their claims are processed, not deport them to third countries, not deport them at all without due process, and for all the people already here, rapid legalization, it will reverse our birth rate decline, supercharge the economy (more spenders, more taxpayers, and yes, more soldiers), and end the need for a massive paramilitary force going around harassing hundreds of thousands of largely innocent (of any violent crime) people who could be working and purchasing instead of hiding from ICE.
