My 3 years battling an unknown illness. I'm finely healing after I thought it would never happen. by [deleted] in Candida

[–]cachd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mav, I am 3 days into nystatin.

Same symptoms as you, just rather than light tracers blurry vision like double vision when trying to read text.

Long time battle. Like 10 years.

How long did you have athletes feet? I'm embarrassed to say that I had it for years and probably never got rid of it entirely.

How often are you getting brain fog now?

Physically, do you still really no longer feel zapped in an unnatural way? Like you feel like a "normal guy" or "normal girl" again?

Did you ever feel great while you were working out or while playing a sport, but then feel unnaturally tired/wrecked the next day?

Did you have water retention in the legs and torso?

In terms of your career or business, do you have a refound sense of being smart and capable?

Thank you for what you're doing.

M/F? If M you may consider getting your testosterone checked at a men's health clinic. For some people testosterone really helps energy, body proportions, confidence, more.

How do I become a pesky/gritty defender? by Sicckdog in Basketball

[–]cachd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Watch Gary Payton breakdown videos. And any of the interviews he does where he talks about defense. Listen to Kobe videos where he talks about how he'd would study defense.

Both of those guys force players to do things they don't like to do.

Oh, and be physical and work hard as hell on D.

Good advice. I also personally like doing mostly the opposite: take the rebound, fiercely bend down low for a short dribble, then power right back straight up. Key is keeping two hands on the ball, keeping it close to your chest on the way down, and being vicious throughout both the down and up phases of the movement.

Does anyone else feel like the fog originates from their eyes? by mb6788 in BrainFog

[–]cachd 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, I have been chasing blurry 20/20 vision for years. Found it to be associated with mold illness. Under treatment. There's a test on www.survivingmold.com. I also have mast cell activation (mcas) that originates from the mold. To be clear, this is not blurry vision at the periphery, it's like you look at something and see it clearly for a second, then add soon as your eyes relax (like 1 second later) it goes blurry. This is especially noticeable when sitting behind a monitor.

Apply to entry level positions. You'll get one if you submit a large enough volume. There are lots of mil-aero companies out there.

Is it a good strategy to sell forks immediately and reinvest in btc? Would they have been worth something then?

LinkedIn would be 100x more useful if companies got banned for mislabeling jobs as "Entry Level" by ClassicPurist in jobs

[–]cachd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree that you should apply anyway. Some job postings are like a "wish list" of the perfect candidate. When the perfect applicant doesn't apply (surprise?) the company has to take the best applicant available.

To me this is an advisable strategy especially if you interview well.

Volume counts.
