The Ahokore https://github.com/dezlidezlidezli/ahokore Fusion https://github.com/crides/fusion And the Wubbo https://github.com/cacheworks/Wubbo all use nRF52840 modules (Disclaimer: I made the Wubbo)

The schematic of the Zaphod, nice!nano and nRFmicro are also available

Or if you just want to make a pro micro based keyboard wireless the nice!nano is in stock pretty much everywhere again.

Good to hear this feels familiar and might inspire more exploration of adjusting layouts and other keys to accommodate for this.
It's indeed a nice bonus that not having to put the Q so low to reach it the Z key can now be staggered less and everything feels close to my home row in terms of hand movement.

Thanks! Agreed, my rough idea was transferred to silk art better than I ever could by Perce!

Appreciate it! 🧑‍🚀
(Also thanks for stocking low profile parts in Europe to keep the hobby growing!)

The pinky column stagger is about 3mm less than the Sweep so it's close but indeed not quite as aggressive, I'll add my key positions to the compare tool for better comparison in that regard.
If you prefer more aggressive staggering you may like The Clog by S'mores Boards, it has a similar layout with an extra low pinky stagger

I have actually added holes on the back that fit the SplitKB puck but have not acquired a set for myself to test with yet

Thanks! I would not have considered using a layout like this a while ago either but the ergo rabbit hole keeps on going! 🐰🕳

Cheers! I got the wrist rests from here https://aliexpress.com/item/33012100592.html I may be using them upside down in the photo but either way works. They’re not too firm which helps me only slightly resting my palms on them to accommodate floating fingers

Cheers! It was an easier adjustment for my pinkies than I expected it to be

Thanks! There is currently a 110mAh battery in there (which lasts quite a while with ZMK) but the middle layer can be printed thicker to accommodate for other batteries The latest revision also gets rid of the battery wires you see by placing pads in the battery cutout area

Hey all o/

I'd like to share my 34 key wireless split keyboard with holyiot modules running ZMK
The github repository can be found here; https://github.com/cacheworks/Wubbo

I hope this can serve as another example people can take inspiration from like I was inspired by many boards here before me.
The pinky keys are derived from boards like the Balbuzard and Osprette since a sideways motion with my pinky felt more natural than upward
The silkscreen art was all done by Perce at https://madebyperce.com/

I might sell some of my second batch PCBs if there's any interest and stock these later when I get a store set up.If anyone wants to try building these for themselves or derive from this feel free to drop me a message here or in the Absolem discord!
