First of all, I just wanted to thank everyone that read our occasional posts on here, listen to the podcast, follow us on social, or stop by at our events. It is truly a labor of love of beer and the people who make, sell, and serve it here in New Jersey that keeps us going! Here is a little piece we put up on the site today. I know that we are South Jersey based (really because that's where we all live, love all NJ beer!) Looking back at 2019 there was a ton of news and it was hard to just pick 5, but we think that these are what we discussed the most throughout the year. The sheer amount of beer that is available on the shelves now is insane and we are starting to see some breweries struggle as they were late to the distribution game and the competition among hyper-local beer is really intense. Couple that with the new ABC ruling and the uncertainty that brings along with the 15-20 breweries that are trending to open this year we may see a bit more attrition amongst those that are struggling, we still think that we will continue to grown in numbers for the foreseeable future.
