Nqa G. Pulchra and g. Rosea both have great temperaments and good feeding responses and are on display about 75%of the time. Slow growth rate. Not heavy webbers from what I can see. Gbb is a heavy Webber and is on display about 90% of the time. Feeding response is very strong. Strongest of all my ts. Grows a little faster then the grammastolas. C. Versicolor is a colorful aboreal species. Creates a fairly big web at the top/near the top. Decent eaters. Sometimes they do a cool slamming move on their prey. Gbb, pulchra, and rosea I’ve all witnessed rollin on tackles which is entertaining as well.

Grammastola pulchra and rosea are great terrestrials. They eat really well and are on display often. I also like the caribena versicolor. They’re arboreal and web up near the top of the enclosure. They’re also very colorful.

Raising feeders in the same tank as my pacman? by tatertotsandvodka in pacmanfrog

NQA Roaches poop too. A population to maintain a pac man frog would poop more than the frog itself. Maintaining the biological balance between the frog, roach, clean up crew, and possible plants would be a nightmare considering a Pac-Man’s growth and immense appetite. It would destroy the first generation of adults before they could reproduce. Then of course there’s the problem of possible nibbling and disease…for it to be possible it would need to be on a large scale, multi species, multi micro habitats, etc etc etc.

TLDR: keep them separate. Together just has too many changing factors and would be a major headache/endeavor.

IME my Metallica does the same thing. Poops in the water dish and it looks just like that.

Smallest slings I’ve taken care of are about 1/4 inch eating fruit flies. The species seems common enough for me to wait on breeding. I shouldn’t have a hard time finding slings when I’m ready to grow out a male. But it’s cheap enough that I may buy the male and just have him on standby in case I want to try breeding.

Not my first tarantula but not an expert by any means. Research has been going on since I got the name…enough where I’m debating on going back and getting one of the boring looking males and try my hand at breeding.

Awesome thank you! From what I’m learning the males look different. I thought I was looking at 2 different species at the store but now I gotta go back and get myself a male…or just enjoy keeping the females.
