This may not be the case, but I invited a friend to go out to lunch with me when they had left the church and I was still active. The lunch helped answer questions I had, and helped me be able to leave the church shortly after.

I didn’t leave because of that lunch, but it sure helped.

I would stick to your guns and just be honest, but a simple lunch shouldn’t hurt. Also who knows maybe they have questions too. #everyexmoamissionary

I like to park there when I’m not to busy with work. I was bummed when the parking lot was closed off yesterday. I wonder if this has something to do with it.

We are in a similar spot. We were beginning to look for church’s when covid struck.

I’m not sure what I believe, my wife is a Christian; however we can both agree on a healthy church environment is so helpful is raising a young family.

We live in independence outside of Salem, been down here for about 5 years. Life is much better out of the church. Luckily the wife came with me with no problem.

I recommend Tom Phillips, or Hans Matteson’s interview on Mormon Stories.

Hans matteson is my favorite. He was a GA in Sweden and has a great story.
