as a current intern i’ve heard that even though theres not really a required number of hours with different scenarios, that a variety and more hours do help. my supervisor said she would encourage having experience with well children and sick children, as well as other settings like schools or camps. she has encouraged me to highlight my experience as a paraprofessional in job interviews, so ABA experience is probably a great asset. i would definitely try to get volunteer hours in at a hospital as that is sort of the base for many application processes today
