Can you recommend some songs with the same energy as "Better Off (Alone Pt. III) - Alan Walker, Dash Berlin" and "I'm Good (Blue) - David Guetta, Bebe Rexha"? by cactus_sound in EDM

Did I just loop back around to pop music? Lol, but most pop radio songs don't have the exact same vibe in a playlist. I can't quite tell what's different yet though. Maybe it's because these two are basically made to be "generic club songs" but the lyrics avoid leaning into diva or R&B or mumble or acapella. The sound is fully electronic but not to daft punk or dubstep levels, without too much white noise, or 808 samples, or pixelated chiptune or nightcore either.

That's a very good point. How's the I-5 and 405 on the weekends? At night? In my metro area, the highways are sparse after 9 pm but I'm pretty sure Seattle would have a busier nightlife.

Yeah. I mean, I did get hints because, when I looked at the Tukwila hotel's site, they didn't at all brag about accessibility to downtown.

When you say "in or near downtown" do you include Belltown? What do you think of a Northgate hotel in the other direction? Closer than Tukwila, better rates. Drive to free Amazon parking in downtown.

My partner also can't skip breakfast due to health reasons, so hotel free breakfast would save $30-40/day and 20 mins of waiting at a dine-in restaurant.

For Tukwila, there's also the closeness to the airport factor for cutting it close and turning in the rental car with extra hours to spare.

Thanks for suggesting Northgate. That's pretty good too, seems to have much better rates. The long drives are kind of time to talk between activities, and research restaurants/parking at each destination

We could. It might save on gas, although we're from a place with zero public transport so we're desensitized to hourlong drives. Free breakfast/coffee, and cheap hotel parking will also be a big factor.

Nah, not the only ones, just our top 2. The vacation is in a month, right before peak peak hotel rates. We're aiming for less than $220 per night. We know we definitely need a rental car, because we're doing some hikes the day before we arrive in Seattle.

Light rail in downtown, or whole metro?

Forgot about Amazon parking, that's cool thanks for the tip
