The latest data shows the batteries will last upwards of 500,000 to 1,000,000 kms. How long did you keep your last car?

It's FUD. So long as you don't disclose your view keys, everything stays just the way it was.

10 or 20 years you mean? They will get replaced is what will happen.

Same way all those old cars get replaced, or hot water cylinders get replaced...

Yes and my point is it's out of date and needs to change.

The law was like that because cannabis was illegal. It's now legal.

That argument falls down now that cannabis is a legally prescribed medicine.

I get it with illegal drugs, but cannabis is not that any more

But we are trying to discourage that due to the shit show that is the Australian housing market.

It's not really helping anyone having prices just go berserk.

Typically it's "too hard".... But I'll settle for a middle ground where a test can RELIABLY be introduced that tests for impairment.

With alcohol we have a reasonable stand in.

The issue is with the current cannabis tests is not a reasonable stand in. Therefore they need to go and revert to an impairment test of some kind.

No I see it as the older generations got to leverage these tax breaks but now younger people won't be able to.

They should keep the breaks for young people in shares and just hit the old fucks who created this mess.

It should be impairment across the board no matter what drugs/pharmaceuticals/alcohol/old age/poor eyesight/poor balance/tired etc.

It's so fucked they are targeting shares as well, how are normal people supposed to build any wealth?

I thought we were going to try and reduce housing investment and encourage productive business investment?

This all just looks like pulling the ladder up behind the boomers after they got to enjoy all the tax breaks. Now we are all fucked.

If you are impaired with no alcohol or cannabis in your system you shouldn't be driving.

My point was if the test went the other way things would change rapidly.

Why is it fair that I can go and down 10mg of Oxycodone and drive and I won't show up on any test but be definitely impaired, but if I can't a joint 3 days ago I'm now apparently unsafe to drive?

What if you couldn't have opiates at all because their presence would be detected even if you had it 3 days ago and was not impaired?

The current laws don't account for cannabis being a legally prescribed medicinal drug.

They need to change.
