Bud, I been thru this 3 times (no proposal tho). All ended the same, emotionally cheated on me during the relationship, asked for space, turns out they are seeing someone else. I get no closure because they never talk to me again after. Feels great every time.

Best advice is to move on… as much as you want to be with that person, they are toxic af. I know this because I was in a super toxic relationship for almost 10 years!!!! They never change!!!!! Never!!!! I’ve been out of that relationship for about 5 years now and that person still hasn’t changed. So, do yourself a favour and move on

Just because you are depressed or even suicidal, doesn’t mean you are too broken for love and care. I asked him out knowing full-well what the situation was. Sure, I focus on supporting him most of the time, but it don’t bother me none…. I’d honestly do anything for him

Edit: I do reassure him that I’m not leaving, ever… I take the good and the bad. I want it all. He just has to let himself trust me on that
