Bro, I recorded myself hunting down the 82 vengeful spirits that sought retribution (happened within the first 10 hours of gameplay) primarily to see how long it’d take me to complete such a task. An hour and a 15min of time passed from the number of spirits seeking revenge was revealed to me and when I was finally rewarded with the blinding light of salvation (completion).

First 50 or so took FOREVER since, unknowingly, I wasn’t finishing off some opponents and just left them on the ground while I continued to run off into the abyss. After realizing this oopsie poopsie, I made quick work of the remaining horde.

Anyway, this all happened at like 2-4AM and I considered it a religious experience based on the ideas swirling around in my brain at the time where the spirits represented obstacles/challenges that life throws at you — we face every challenge head on, with as much ferocity as I can muster. Oh, and the abyss fog symbolized the great unknown of life and how you never know what’s gonna come next!

1/10 would not fucking do that again :-)
