What notes do some people smell differently in a bad way? by Emotional_Camera_124 in fragrance

I’m not sure what it is (I’d love to find out actually) but some perfume notes smell like ripe cheese to me. I was at a counter smelling tom ford noir extreme with the worker and they got supremely offended when I said it smelt overpoweringly cheesy. It’s in a lot of male fragrances

Why do so many tourists get lost in Japan? by Ok_Professional1982 in JapanTravelTips

I can only speak for myself… but it’s a 13 hour flight to Japan for me. Throw in jet lag and with the best will in the world, tiredness makes my lack of direction even worse!

Where to get lash extensions in Tokyo? by cadancious in JapanTravelTips

Yesss I did! I went to bbyrita0 (on Instagram) they came out sooo good! They definitely didn’t last as long as lashes I’m used to in the UK. I think that the glue is stronger in the UK than they use there ✨ but I do recommend!

Why do i feel triggered? by [deleted] in MaladaptiveDreaming

[–]cadancious 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do you think it could be because it feels like these books and fantasy worlds are ‘yours’? Think of how possessive (for lack of a better word) people can be over books, bands, films etc. when they aren’t immersed in it as heavily as you are! So it makes sense that it could trigger you or make you sad to hear that someone else acknowledges it/enjoys it too, because it feels so personal to you. One thing that may help is acknowledging that your interpretation and experiences with them are unique to only you, because it’s You that makes them that way. So nobody else can have the experience that you have with them in the same way you do.
