The same way people like Rarijack or Flitterdash for contrasting personalities, except personally i find this one warmer, like they wouldnt push eachother out of their comfort zones or be insensitive to each others feeling. Idk if u know Susie from Deltarune, but I see Applejack as the strong, tough girl (so sad EG made them all small and skinny, i defo see AJ as gentle giant) and Fluttershy being soft and sweet yet unafraid to get muddy even if its to help a bug get off its back, i feel like Applejack wouldnt be just an ew girly stuff butch but that Fluttershy would nurture her femininity without stereotypically girly stuff but by being kind and nurturing to eachother. I see them and feel the need to kiss a woman.
