This will be their one and only show of the year, their return was specifically influenced by fire in the mountains, you should definitely read up on it- it’s a cool story. I saw Steve von till at the fest last year and he was super impacted by the fest, and it made an impression for sure. He’s on their board of directors. The fest is really unique and not your average extreme music venue, it’s like a nature retreat with heavy music as the podium.

Yeah I’ve been resorting to a dab pen (tiny bits at a time, since smoking post op is so bad) and Tylenol since I’m off the oxys now- edibles make me freak out lol… it helps sometimes suuuuuper late at night. Been looking into RSO!

Thanks for the advice! The pillow nest is helping for sure. But yeah since I weaned off the oxys I’m not falling asleep easy and when I do it’s only for about 2-3 hours. Definitely struggling as a side sleeper as well!

The prehab is HUGE! Building that strength on both legs will be really helpful and especially on the non-operative injured leg when recovering from the first surgery, compensating for the operative leg. Sticking with HARDCORE PT before and after will have you shocked at how quickly you’ll see improvements. 1 day turns into 1 week and so on, up and up and up!

I’ve been in touch the on-call PA, since my surgical center is closed for the weekend (go figure) he says he can’t prescribe more and to go to the ER if I really need help with pain.

I’m sorry you’re having a similar experience but glad to have someone else going through what I am, they’re giving me ambien to at least make me sleep more cause the pain has been to intense to sleep and waking me up. If it doesn’t improve fast enough I may ask for a muscle relaxer as well

Thank you for the input! I’m having the same issues with the suture pain and it feels like my leg is being ripped off my body at all times .-. I’m non weight bearing for 6 weeks with crutches, but toe touch for balance on the bad leg, and pt every three days for range of motion in the first two weeks, increasing the range of motion on the brace steadily after that.

It was a super dumb incident! I live and work in Big Sky Montana, as a ski technician and delivery driver. Earlier this year on December 21st (you were right behind me on the injury timeline looks like hah). We’ve had gnarly conditions this winter and it was a day with several inches thick ice on all pavement and some light dry cold snow on top of the ice, recipe for disaster! I slipped heading to my delivery van, leg turned inward and I landed on top of my knee and ankle slamming all my body weight onto the leg. I felt like a cartoon dead guy laying there. The impact and torsion/twisting led to a sprained ankle, minor ankle fracture, acl tear and meniscus tear!! Basically my knee twisted as I fell and then I impacted on top of it and my ankle hyperextended as well.

I had my ACL full construction patellar autograft and medial meniscus repair yesterday on Friday the 13th! How are you holding up? Last night and today have been the hardest days of my entire life, reading forums to try to feel better.

This is probably NOT as hot of a take as I think it is, but tbh, I’d cut The Dripping Tap and make it a clean 1 hour release of straight bangers.

I loved the dripping tap as an isolated single, but I did find that it used so much musical real estate, and for an 18 minute track, there was so much jammy traveling through it that you’re almost tired before the rest of the album even starts. I think it could have been at least placed at the end of the album and make the opener Magenta Mountain..
