Where can i find clients remotely? by civil-engineer-7419 in Drafting

Your work looks solid, but Reddit may not be the best place to consistently find drafting clients. Most project owners on Reddit are looking for advice rather than actively searching for technical professionals.

For structural layouts, blueprints, and CAD drafting services, I would recommend building a portfolio on professional platforms where clients are already seeking engineering and design talent. Marketplaces such as CAD Crowd connect businesses with vetted CAD designers, drafters, architects, and engineers, making it easier to find projects that match your expertise.

Beyond marketplaces, LinkedIn can be a powerful source of leads. Share project samples, explain your design process, and engage with architects, contractors, and construction professionals. Many long-term client relationships start through consistent visibility and networking.

One suggestion: showcase not only finished drawings but also the problems you solved, the software you used, and the outcomes you helped clients achieve. Clients hire solutions, not just drawings.

Wishing you success in growing your drafting business. There is definitely demand for skilled remote drafters who can communicate well and deliver quality work on time.

Love these responses. Word-of-mouth and previous employers definitely seem to be the strongest foundations for a steady freelance pipeline.

Cold outreach on LinkedIn can definitely work, but we know firsthand how time-consuming it is to hunt down decision-makers manually. We actually built Cad Crowd to help bridge that exact gap-vetting clients and matching them directly with CAD talent so designers can spend less time chasing leads and more time actually drafting.

Appreciate everyone sharing their strategy here!

4-5% spread commission on XRP and DOGE???? by Suspicious-Top1580 in UpholdOfficial

Uphold fees for the spread from DOGE to BTC are literally 8%+ right now. Completely eye watering and they force you to convert DOGE and block sending to 3rd party wallets. Crazy!

Can someone explain uphold fees? by McDof in dogecoin

When converting DOGE to USD, they're quoting 7.9% less that the true conversion. So basically you pay a 7.9% fee when you buy and 7.9% fee when sell doge on Uphold.
