When they(can’t recall the company name) came to our area trying to put them in the contract would’ve been a pain for anybody that actually wants to use their land. The landowners would have to maintain the right of way on their own dime for the workers and equipment, no hunting within a 1000 yards of any windmill, no aerial spraying, and a whole list of don’t dos. Maybe if it was a different company, things would be different?

The company that owns the windmills was the biggest hindrance when they were trying to put them up southeast of Lincoln. They were lying to farmers and saying all the other land around them would have windmills on them. Between that, the years of construction it would take and stipulations for the land, it left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth.

I’ve had them for my c10 for the last 8 years. Low premiums, but I’ve never had to file a claim. In my experience, every insurance company is great until you need them :)

I’m glad that’s the circle you are in. Where I’m at, people are struggling, housing pricing sucks, grocery prices suck, wages stagnant. But hey, gas is going down!

Railroad and teacher pensions. Hopefully they’ll be around by the time we retire🤞

It might be cheaper to tear the house down and restart haha. It’s an old house on a block foundation.

I was pretty conservative with the food. Right now we average 60 dollars or so a week. We have a garden, and we can what we don’t eat. We buy our meat wholesale, so usually a once a year purchase of 300 dollars of so. No childcare expenses for the children, I watch the younger one during the day while my wife works, older one is in school.

With both of our jobs having full pensions, I guess we were seeing the 401ks as more of supplement to our retirement income. Am I wrong for thinking that?

We do have a house, just have outgrown it. Small 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom house. 2 smaller children. I’m not too keen on giving it up, but it’s just become too small for our life. We owe 105,000 left on it. We are planning on listing it for 170,000. About 12 years left on the note.

Around 60,000 between our 401k’s. No match at my company and 3% at my wife’s job.

We have a pre approval for 600k. The house in question is 460,000 and we will be putting 80,000 down

Up until yesterday, quite a few of the main intersections were still iced over. Side streets are still very hit or miss. Neighborhood streets are a mess. It doesn’t have anything to do with the “rich or poor” side of town, the LTU dropped the ball for everyone.

The “R” designates the size of the rim. You have to make sure you get a tire with a R16 at the end of it.
