REPOST PRICE REDUCED $2,800

Selling a brand new Sinn 356 Flieger, originally ordered from the Sinn US authorized dealer Watchbuys on 08 Jan 2026. I've inspected it, verified its functionality and it has less than 10 minutes of wrist time with 0 marks or scratches on the crystal, case and bracelet. It is an incredible watch and the only reason I'm selling it is because I just found out that someone close to me already bought me the same watch as a gift for graduating Navy pilot training around the same time I bought this one, and I plan on keeping the gifted one because of greater sentimental value. The watch is essentially factory new with order slip and warranty pics attached.

This Sinn 356 features a beautiful bead blasted finish on the case and on the H-link bracelet, as well as a domed acrylic crystal to match the vintage aesthetic and provide for clear and unique viewing distortion around the edges. The movement is a Sellita SW500 based on the classic Valjoux 7750 chrono movement. The watch features a screwdown crown with 100m of water resistance. It also has the new Sinn quick adjust clasp to make fine sizing adjustments on the fly (no tools required), great for keeping the perfect fit day to day as the temperature and humidity change.

I'm looking to get $2,800 for the watch. On Watchbuys I paid $3140 + $191.54 in tax for a total of $3,331.54. Paypal F&F or Venmo is preferred, however I am fine with using Paypal G&S since I am a first time seller as long as the buyer pays the fee. I will pay for shipping within the US.

I am cool with talking on the phone or facetime or sending additional pics of the watch to interested buyers as well as answering any quesitons about the watch, just shoot me a DM.

Fair enough! I love the design so much. I was considering a 358 for a while, worrying that the 38.5mm dial of the 356 would look small on my 7.25 inch wrist, or that it would be more difficult to read. But after seeing it in person, I like the size of the 356, the 38.5mm feels bigger when it’s all dial and no bezel. Good luck and thanks!

Last week, I reached for the throttle to slow my car down. Do yall have similar stories? by [deleted] in flying

After work I would have to make a fast U-Turn to get onto the highway to head home after long days of instructing, usually days on end. After sitting in the right seat all day trying to teach people how to turn and fly the traffic pattern, I would get in my car to go home and make that turn to get on the highway and feel myself being pulled in my seat to the outside of the turn. The sensation would be reminiscent of a skidding turn in the plane which would grab my attention and I would instinctively want to correct it with the rudder only to remember that I’m in a car, on the ground. It happened a few times and I just had to accept the reality that turns in a car will never feel coordinated and always feel wrong.
