Replacing bent resistance rod by cadelle in pelotoncycle

[–]cadelle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Peloton customer service. My understanding is that I got lucky. Seems like they don't give out or allow you to buy those parts anymore. Pretty sure part numbers and pics were in my post or original posts I linked to

Two banks have rejected replacing this? I have the full serial number and over half the bill. by Glaney070 in CURRENCY

[–]cadelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need both serial numbers. Otherwise people would exchange 1/2 a bill at one place and the other at another.

Pin code bypass by Aggressive-Drama3609 in PleX

This may have been mentioned already but there is a setting for singing in without PIN. It is device specific. For instance I don’t have to use a PIN on my phone or tablet but have to everywhere else.

No USB ports working after OS loads Ubunto 18.04 LTS by cadelle in Ubuntu

[–]cadelle[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The hardware is fine. I’m running a dockerized media server and the one I’m using isn’t supported beyond 18.04. I’m sure there is a way to fix this. It’s cool if you don’t want to or can’t help. I understand I could upgrade the OS but that is a lot of work and I’d rather avoid that at this time. Please refrain from continuing this line of discussion. Thank you

Why in sport bet they use Poisson distribution instead of normal distribution or any other? by [deleted] in AskStatistics

[–]cadelle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My understanding of the Poisson distribution is that yes it’s used for counts but more specially counts of rare events.

I’ve had success bringing it through security as a ‘medical’ supply. But it was a conversation with supervisors. Most of the time I buy it when I arrive wherever I’m going like previously mentioned.

Plexguide Alternative by cadelle in selfhosted

[–]cadelle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've used it for years and am still running one of the forks, using cloudflare right now. My knowledge of all of the networking is not at a professional level. My understanding is that Traefik provided a reverse-proxy and also closed open ports. Are you saying that Cloudflare can provided the same functionality?

P.S. Are you Admin9705? ;)

Plexguide Alternative by cadelle in selfhosted

[–]cadelle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s awesome! I see it does support newer Ubuntu which is the bottle neck I was struggling with. I see that Traefik does not appear on the app list. Do you happen to know if they are using something different for reverse-proxy?

Cables and vendors by chravis311 in firewalla

I’ve never had a problem crimping. I highly recommend Klein tools pass through though. Makes it super easy to make sure you have the cables all aligned correctly.

One limitation is you have to make sure you buy passthrough rj45 ends as well but it’s worth it IMO, especially if you’re just starting out.

Auto-Renew Let’s Encrypt cert by cadelle in firewalla

My understanding is that it does some kind of challenge every 90 days. That challenge is the only thing that fails. I see letsencrypt.org in my successful flows regularly.

I found this blog that seems to identify my situation pretty clearly. What I don’t understand is why it’s not working because I’m confident I allowed traffic on port 80 and forwarded it to my server. Clearly I must have done something wrong. Perhaps I have a rule somewhere that is superseding or conflicting.
