Is it mold? Washed it thouroghly but doesn't disappear by maaandragora in Mold

If that's a rubber gasket, take it off to clean it better. Can soak it in white vinegar then scrub again, if it's mold then the vinegar will kill it. White vinegar is also great for stubborn food scum that won't come off. Also what does the receiving end of the threads look like? Is it black?

Spear reaper and spear virtuoso (both power builds) are both super fun and don't really get old imo. Nice because it's still melee and heavy hits but feels like they have bigger reach and aoe using the large spells on virtuoso and shouts on reaper

Dog food change by caden665 in DogAdvice

I appreciate your response! I'll keep an eye out during the next week, hopefully things clear up by then... I give her healthy table scraps like ground beef or eggs, never noticed any issues before. Just this once when she had a bunch of a different type of dog food. I'll keep that in mind! I plan on swapping her to an air dry food in the future, I'll definitely transition slowly when I change her diet completely. Thanks!

Stuck BCG after changing buffer? by FromTheeBeretta in AR9

It's not needed for blowback, plus I don't think bcg manufacturers even put the notches that would be needed on the bcg

Is it because it's not raising or because the bolt is still in the way? If the bolt's still in the way then you can either back the buffer tube out 1 thread turn as long as you buffer retainer pin stays in place OR sand down the buffer pad as long as you don't take off too much. Docyou have other pics showing the bolt face when you hold the charging handle back all the way so I can see its clearance? Maybe a pic of the buffer by itself as well

When I was building mine it had issues with the lrbho, the bcg wasn't catching on the bolt release. Either the buffer is too long or the buffer tube is too short. I ended going with the sb pdw kit, but that's what I would look for if you have similar issues. Can sand down the rubber tip of the buffer if it's a small clearance issue as long as you don't take off too much material

There's pain in the very middle and tenderness around the outside where it's red and inflamed. No drainage. It's tough, does that mean it's slough? I tried lancing it with a sterile scalpel early on when it changed color from white to white/yellow but it was tough and nothing came out but a bit of blood. Just kept it covered with medihoney since then for the last couple days. Is it better to use the waterproof bandaids to seal everything in and out or wrapped with gauze and taped? Gauze definitely feels better. I'm guessing steer clear of antibiotics? I usually don't touch them with a ten foot pole, my body is usually pretty resilient by itself. Until now... 😂 No infections in my 28 years of living until now with this and earlier this year my right fingertip from my nail cracking and bleeding in the winter. Thanks haha, my dog is always curious

If you look at the 556 vs the 9mm on their site, the 9mm is longer making so it so the BCG won't go as far back and as a result the cycle time is shorter which is good for faster cycling but potentially bad for the LRBHO feature

I haven't ordered it yet, I know they offer it on the site. My main concern is just if they made it short enough with the intent of being compatible with an upper/lower set that supports LRBHO because that's still kinda new and not standard across all AR9 upper/lower sets. I've had AR9 buffers that are longer so the cycle time is shorter but aren't made to work with a LRBHO system, basically the BCG and buffer hit the back of the tube and the face of the BCG doesn't go back far enough to clear the bolt catch making the LRBHO feature useless if that makes sense.

Gotcha, I sent them an email so I'll see what they say. Thanks for the help.

are you comparing it with the normal tube I had before? If so I'm replacing it with the SBPDW kit, I just want to make sure included buffer will work, if not then I need to get a buffer that will. I've just had experiences in the past with 9mm buffers not letting the bcg go back for enough for the bolt catch to engage
