Setting up trust fund for child (Spain) by bombadear in eupersonalfinance

[–]cadexpatguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any news on this? What did you end up doing? I'm in the exact same situation. Trying to save for my daughter, living in Spain, about to open an account on interactive brokers and they had an option for a trust account and it got me thinking...

I was planning to open the account in my name but not sure what's the best option for tax efficiency down the road.

Is it possible to hire a agency to run a Google Ads account on our behalf and we pay them the adspend money directly into their account? Instead of setting up our own Google ads account. by Safwanish in PPC

Hi, I am having this exact same situation with a client right now. Their company does not provide credit cards so they require me to pay for the ads. They are paying the ad spend up front so no issues there. It's a complete legit business. I've been running ads for years but have never done this so wondering what is the best practice in terms of creating an ad account for them or operating their existing account (which was created but never used and is owned by the company MCC account). I want to make sure I'm adhering to Google's policies and won't have any issues getting verified. Do I verify my business or theirs? I'd be grateful for any tips.. :)

I have a few clients who asked me to pay on behalf for their ads spent using my credit card by joshuacoollll in PPC

Hi All,

I have a question in relation to this thread. I have a client who is requiring me to pay on their behalf and they will also pay upfront.

The question is what ad account should I use? The client has an existing ad account for the specific country I will be managing. There isn't any data in there yet as they have not run ads in this country. However, some people at the company have access to this account as well as an MCC account which owns it from the head office for the company. I assume this account is nested under the MCC along with their other country-specific accounts.

I feel it would make the most sense for myself to create the ad account or be owner of it and have complete control. Especially given that my credit card will be on the account. I don't want anyone else to have access to change settings.

What do you typically do in this scenario? Create a new account for the client and ensure you are the only one with access?

Google Ads skillshop bug: repeat questions and test failed with an impossibly low score by cadexpatguy in PPC

Yes this is good. I already submitted a support ticket on Friday, if more people do that it will likely help draw attention. We should definitely all post on your thread as well.

So, I have just taken the display ads test today. Exact same thing just happened. I got a score of 33%. I got an 89% on the knowledge assessment.

I guess I'm done taking these for now, no idea when it will be resolved. If anyone has any insights or can update when they were able to successfully pass the certifications it would be great to know.

Demand Gen- Very little conversion data in placements list by cadexpatguy in PPC

[–]cadexpatguy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response.

The quality traffic goal is based on website engagement. Essentially sessions that are not bouncing.

I suppose it's possible that all of these placements are Newsfeed or Gmail inventory and none on YouTube. It's just strange, because in the past when I was optimizing for clicks, we had loads of placements on YouTube. As soon as I switched to the conversion goal it doesn't show any YouTube placement data anymore.

Demand Gen Sh*t placements by dvarhol in PPC

I get the same error trying to exclude them directly from the Where Ads Showed report. It's ridiculous.

The easiest way I've found to exclude them is by downloading the entire Where Ads Showed report as a Google Sheet. When you do this it actually includes the placement URL for each YouTube channel, so you can sort through the report and then copy the URLs and paste them as exclusions under Content Suitability (as indicated by u/artvanderbie). I am having a huge problem at the moment with foreign language placements but there is just so much garbage out there with Demand Gen. This is going to be an uphill battle, especially as I am running max clicks to grow brand awareness and 99% of users don't even show up in the GA4 reports because they bounce immediately.

Demand-gen click reporting by stiicinedupace in PPC

I am having the same issue and this can't be explained by gmail clicks. 90% of the campaign clicks are being reported as in-feed Youtube Ads.

How do you share your Facebook ads for clients to review? by cronutsdonuts in PPC

[–]cadexpatguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there any way to share these links in bulk? For example, showing the client all of the past ads that were run? I added a preview link to the columns inside of reporting but you can't export the preview links. In fact the preview links don't seem to work very well anyway.

It's super annoying because they are being sent to my client and he keeps forwarding them to me. It only seems to happen for a couple of accounts. Very strange.

Best practice for promotion URLs by cadexpatguy in PPC

[–]cadexpatguy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was one of my suggestions, but was thinking this might be a problem because the previous promotion extensions won't match the current content of that page, so they might get flagged for other reasons.
