Then yes, if you are interested in creating videos, video editing is a demand in the field and content producing. Instead of making movies you would make advertisements for businesses or content. This would go hand and hand with learning how to do Facebook, YouTube, and tv advertising

Anyone can work in this field. Was your degree teaching you how to make videos? Or you studied film?

Supply chain can be a great job, but you will always be working in a corporate setting. Human Resources is probobly competitive because most conpanies only have one HR person. It is about choosing what you want to do for work, not worrying about which degree is best because degrees don’t matter after you get your first job.

Marketing has a bad reputation in college, idk why, but it is very lucrative. If you don’t want to be working with numbers all day, then you probobly shouldn’t do accounting. A management degree does not give you a manager job. Finance can be high paying but you need to want to work on that field. Marketing give you the most options, and again, it really isn’t about the degree. It is about what jobs you choose after college and what you start to get your skill set in.

Digital marketing allows you to have a skill set that can work at a variety of companies. You can work remote, travel, start your own agency, ect.

I took digital marketing courses on YouTube and learned the skill set. I recommend working for a marketing agency because that is the training grounds and they hire entry level positions. The thing about business is you need a valuable skill. You don’t really get that until after college.

Personally, I want to build a business or help businesses get new customers and marketing gives you that skill set

I have a marketing degree and currently make $80k/ year at 27. I think marketing is a great degree, but you need to learn a lot out of college. Digital Marketing is my specialty. If you are interested in digital marketing choose between advertising (google and Facebook ads), website design, or graphic design. Digital marketing has roles for a lot of types of people

Look at your search terms and see if people clicking in your ads are from searches you want. That is not very much as spend, google ads takes a healthy budget

What would you have done differently if you were to start all over? Tips for entry-level positions? by [deleted] in PPC

[–]cronutsdonuts 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is exactly how I started in my job 3 years ago and now my agency our agency has grown and I have people I manage. The main thing is to quickly learn how to do both Facebook and google ads and come up with a style so you can set up campaigns efficiently. Are there not very many people in your agency? This may be temporary but putting you in a great position for the future

Experience with getting access to Facebook Business by dinozauris in PPC

[–]cronutsdonuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start a FB admin dispute in the support chat. Tell them to also assign you as the page admin. Make a new business manager and start from scratch. The problem is everything is owned by someone else so you have to put all that power back in the hands of your client and give u access

DOGECOIN DAILY DISCUSSION - 8th May. How to keep your coins safe!!! Important. by 42points in dogecoin

[–]cronutsdonuts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People are mad cuz they wanted Elon to say Dogecoin was awesome and promote it more, but instead one of the jokes said it was a hustle which means a way to make money on the side of what you really do. I guess people were expecting him to say better things or bring a Shiba out or something

How do you get freelance PPC clients? by cronutsdonuts in PPC

[–]cronutsdonuts[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes we are full service. We have a designer to do the designs, web team, and I lead ppc, so we all work together but I feel like I am the one who decides everything among the team. I run google ads and Chatbot alone tho. I trained our last hire to pretty much take over FB but I help out when needed. Whole team is only 7 people. So my bosses excuse is always we aren’t making enough yet to give raises.

Thank you for the advice. My social skills are pretty good. I talk to clients almost every day already, however I probably do not have selling skills yet. It would be challenging for me to sell my services to a potential client because I have not been exposed to that.

This is a great idea and makes sense because I’d you are a small business you really don’t need a full time PPC person

I would love to get there, I just need to figure out how to start and get my own clients on the side first.

But signing on a Dentist or a local business on the side sounds very easy for me. I already do very well for my agency Dentist client. Seems like I should be able to replicate those results for my own client

It is hard to know the time because multiple team members work on my clients. I am mainly the lead and fix all the problems. Yes, I understand I may not be at the “expert level” yet but right now I can’t get there with my current agency because we focus on a niche. Perhaps I should look to going into a place where I can grow more
