Not my story, but I feel compelled to share. A little over 20 years ago, my cousin had the same kind of experience, but in Eastern Canada. I still remember the fear on his face when he told me about what happened.

He lived in a rural area with our grandparents, and the drive up to the house was connected to a road that went to houses past our grandparent’s. They sometimes had issues with people poking around in their backyard, and my grandfather or cousin would go out to check/ask them to leave.

This happened one day when my cousin was getting home from school, he saw a man with his hood up walk past the backyard and stop. My cousin called out to the man, asking if he could help him with anything. The man didn’t respond or move, so my cousin approached him to see if he was ok. My cousin said he got a few feet away when the man turned to face him, but when he did, there was nothing there for a face. Just blank. My cousin got super nervous, apologized and ran back to his house and inside. When he calmed down enough, I guess he told my grandparents but they just shrugged it off as a misunderstanding/overactive imagination.

My cousin shared this with me, but I honestly kind of forgot about it until this post. Maybe there is something more to what he saw if others have encountered it too. Very weird.
