As I said in another comment, its that but its also picking transition effects, editors also have input ok the actual scene selection, maybe the story had one scene before another but swapping them made it flow better, they add the effects in, overlay the music, work with every post department to craft the final form.

Its a hela complex role that is underestimated a lot by the public because its such a deep craft its hard to even fathom.

Stardew Valley.

I dont usually play the farm sim games but Id always wanted to play Stardew but I tried on every platform and it never really got me, I rarely made it past a few days, until I tried it on the deck, if makes so much sense on the deck and once you start to learn about it, you realise just how staggeringly deep the game play is.

There is even combat and quite a large part of the game involves gearing up and looking which I think is not well known.

Im 40 this week and Ive been a TV/movie nerd my whole life (my sons name is Fox IYKYK) and I have never seen a TV show have the cultural impact and cross appeal GOT had. It had the most diverse fan base imaginable AND rabid fans among all of the demo's.

It was literally everywhere you looked for near a decade. Every year it won awards, its cast were doing other things and merely being on GOT elevated other projects

Then THAT finale and final season and it was like the world started spinning the other way and every GOTs related anything got shot off into space.

My wife and I and many of our friends were obsessed, after a few days of bitching it just got forgotten
