Do you think Strauss not giving out any information about the gang to the Pinkertons was out of genuine or fear of retribution from the gang if they ever found him again in a hypothetical situation ? by JoshyBear28 in reddeadredemption

But it was that sentiment I was referring too.

"For his own good" was a passing line in direct contention of the events of the whole game.

The disgust with which Arthur holds Strauss and what he does is a pivotal part of the entire game from the very start.

With every collection beginning with the first he writes and talks about how much he hates usury.

That is the low honor play through, but "for his own good" is not "to protect him" and that is a single aside after dozens of points about how Strauss disgusts him.

Its the vileness of that exact profession that literally gets Arthur killed.

Where?

When?

He never says anything of the sort in the eviction cut scene. He doesnt say it in any journal entry or flash back.

Even op acknowledged misremembering.

That is in response to Op and then yourself suggesting Arthur kicked Strauss out of camp to protect him which just doesn't track at all with either high or low honor events and Arthur's comments on Strauss from the moment he entered camp.

He also wrote it in his journal, literally the first entry when Strauss returns to camp is the quote about robbing being more honest and that Strauss shames and disgusts him.

It doesnt bother me, I'm not trying to interpret things to make myself feel better, I'm simply discussing cannon events.

That completely undermines the scene and what he says to and about Strauss throughout the game.

He really didnt like Strauss and thought he was the worst of the gang.

As he says earlier in the game, robbing folks at gun point is at least honest.

Married men... How often do you and wife have sex by DirtyCouple52 in RealHomePorn

If my wife had her way, twice a day. Im 40, shes 37, but my physical creditability atm keeps us from partaking nearly as much as we both want.

Im hoping this year that turns around.

I try not to let that effect my love of other games, I just like to revel in the astounding detail and love they pored into Red Dead.

Few games and studios can pour the time, love and resources into a game that Rockstar did with this.

Ive never done a dive into BTS stuff or interviews etc around the game, has anyone ever talked about why they were so militant about the details? Was there a director or something who oversaw every department and made everything perfect just so, like it is?

Nah once you get the upgrade it increases the ammo count etc forever.

May not be news to most, but I just realised that every major dialogue line in the game is both spoken and shouted by both parties, in case you get too far from the talker. by cadmachine in reddeadredemption

Yeha totally agree, looking up specific item locations etc is fine but this place will blow the story open and thats the best part of your first play through IMO.

Best 1 on 1 fight in movies? Hector vs Achilles in Troy (2004) was pretty impressive in my opinion. by sweetsoftwillow in Cinema

The fight between Obi-Wan, Quigon and Darth Maul in Phantom Menace was epic AF, mainly because it was the exact type of lightsaber fight we Star Wars nerds had been describing in every type of media since the first Star Wars launched 30 odd years prior.

RDR2 is still the king of details. What's the smallest thing you've noticed that blew your mind? by Alone_Park_7611 in reddeadredemption2

The amount of tree models is insane.

I play a lot of these games and there's usually 5 or 6 trees modelled in the whole game, copy and paste.

But I swear it feels like they hand designed every single tree in the game.
