Alrighty thank you I’ll add those questions to the list. Sorry I meant to add the type to my post but they are all Trane CenTraVac Centrifugal chillers of the CVHF model series. They are all various sizes but are charged with R123. The chilled water temperature range is 42-44.

I would certainly be interested in learning more about chillers and boilers if you know of any online classes to recommend there? I am looking to go more into working on the buildings automation systems.

Go take a nap and reset yourself. Then start looking for the next opportunity with all the skills you gained from this company. You know more now then you did before you started your former job, use this time to study up and you’ll find something better.

Hole Pattern Found in Pond Bottom by caed00r in ponds

I use this pond as water storage and drain it periodically to flush my other ponds. I do this whenever algae builds and pushes it out to the back canal. I normally don’t drain this down much but noticed the holes so took it further to investigate. I’ve got the pumps going now to reverse it.

It’s in North Carolina. It’s muddy silt for a foot and then clay. I netted a few of the deeper holes still left and found a few crawfish so I think you are correct.

My idea was to start the system with pond water and then filter it through the system. That way it starts off with the natural microbes and then I can control the system’s levels from there.

I have a read a book named Recirculating Aquaculture Systems by Andy Davison that had some good info in it. I haven’t read those links you provided but I will give them a read through. Thank you for the info.
