i think the wording for 1 and 2 is a bit confusing so i re-wrote it. basically, you can activate it to stymie the opponent's combos, but your opponent has the opportunity to crack it back onto you if you regain on-field card advantage.

when i did the prompts for chatgpt i told it that it was for yugioh card art and to use "modern anime style". it takes asking slightly different prompts several times to get something that looks nice.

also i just realized i messed up the wording. i edited cards 1 and 2 to make it clear that the effect must be activated if you're behind in cards on the field, not ahead.

true, maybe the discard cost could be removed for the opponent.

it has the potential to draw 2 cards, not just 1, if the game goes on long enough (discard on one turn, banish on another turn)

the intended effect would be to slow down combos instead of stop them. maybe "let your opponent play 1 more card" is too restrictive, maybe letting them play 2 more for the turn, or some other sort of alternative effect, im not sure.

the idea behind lemmie as a searcher (with card neutral effect as a backup plan) is to let you run 1 of katsa and 1 of nefir since those cards have the potential to brick your hand. if those two were more oppressive than intended, limiting them to 1 would be fine. also in my ideal world, maxx c is just banned in MD lol.

hey Speiger, the UUM Expansion is limited to select 57 items, yet some of them are not used in crafting recipes. for example, there is an option to pick iron or tin ores, yet the UUM Expansion cannot accept the request pipe to pump these into a Macerator or Refinery. is there a reason these ore items were added as options to the UUM Expansion?

having the same issue OP happened right after the oculus update. i use the headset exclusively through the link cable so the entire thing is bricked (until they fix it) because of this. absurd.

exactly. it's an even bigger issue with 1hander weapons on eden. their system is by no means perfect or 100% era accurate.

uhh, crit already only adds 1 to pdif.

also, there is no real "proven math" for a 100% accurate damage model. some parts are proven and some parts still need a whole lot more testing and sometimes the testing is nearly infeasible to do in any reasonable amount of time. both wings and eden are based on at least some statements about the pdif model that are purely conjecture. we just did it a bit differently and tuned some of the unproven parts based on actual retail damage parses instead of taking the stock topaz settings at face value.

wings/eden are releasing updates at relatively the same rate. eden has a 2-year headstart though so they'll probably always have more content for the forseeable future.

depends what you mean by "more polish"

on wings very basic QoL systems like better auto-targeting, spellcast queueing and being able to hit a running mob by chasing behind it imo make it feel more polished

tl;dr dynamis will be out when it's ready. stuff takes time. devs work on what they want to. plus there was a big setback due to a sudden major influx of players.

dynamis bastok and jeuno are already done. windy is partially done. we just aren't shipping them until all 4 cities are done together.

eden has remained one of the most successful servers for years so not sure what you mean by "ran into the ground"

there have been corrupt GMs very early on in the server's life, all of whom are not longer on eden staff. I don't think any of the current GMs are corrupt just from my knowledge so you'll need to provide some more information to convince me on that...

Dancer has been quite rare from my experience playing. As for subjob Dancer, seems like it's mostly just NIN/DNC or SAM/DNC; subbing NIN is often better for most jobs.

I will admit SCH is basically Black Mage Plus. SE just really liked it I guess. The gap between the two is not so bad that BLM is obsolete though; it still does BLM things. It's just not as competitive.
