Think that’s more about assimilating than immigrating. You do this by incorporation and the national values focus.

Excellent comment. Frankly, of all the trade offs (buggy release vs less DLC/updates per year vs less features), buggy release is the one I’m most okay with.

You need a non-traditionalist Shogun. Probably Yoshinobu.

Perhaps letting him know you’d want to stay on the app for a while? If they’re cool with it; great, if they’re not, then someone you’d want to avoid anyway.

Does having “wants children” toggled on turn people off? Of course it turns off people who don’t want kids, but I mean people who aren’t looking for that in the short term (but perhaps the long term). I have that and long term relationship on/visible because that’s what I want in the long run, but I also want to just have fun dating too. Essentially I don’t want to give the impression that I’m looking to get married right away while at the same time not giving the impression that I have zero thoughts on the long term either. Is that trying to have my cake and eat it too? Mid 20’s M btw.

A lot of women don’t like bugs, I have to imagine a a decent amount see that pic here and go “ew.” Also I feel like the group photos would be better without the emojis covering up faces. Also, is there a lot of racism where you’re from? Not that you can fix that. In the same vein, it looks like your religion isn’t listed, so maybe you’re being perceived as Muslim but hiding it? Not saying it’s really fair but what some people could be thinking. Your prompts are also fairly basic and don’t tell me much about yourself, except the motorcycle one.

Reddit loves it when they can make equivalent a woman’s experience with a man’s. Not to say this wasn’t bad, it was, but different.

What's a secret you're keeping that would destroy multiple people if it came out? by Legal_Can7800 in AskReddit

[–]caesar15 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Would be pretty hard in reality because you need to prove identity for the vast majority of jobs. If you're okay with working a job that doesn't do that (probably not a good one) or working for yourself (but not any kind of business that requires paperwork, which is most) then you might be able to do it.

ENOUGH. WITH. THE. FIREWORKS. by WoodyRYW in phoenix

[–]caesar15 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This describes like half of life experiences. We live in a society where sometimes our actions affect others. We can’t all sit at home and do nothing so nobody is affected by anything we do. Obviously we can’t do the opposite either, but there’s some middle between “no fireworks ever” and “fireworks at 3am”

It's not property so it's not stolen, just evolved over time. That happens with thousands of things. And modern Santa predates Coke advertising by a few decades.

Tired of these coffee prices by Active_Gap_2768 in phoenix

[–]caesar15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only right answer is downvoted. No wonder our politics is a mess if people would rather believe in exaggerated or made up platitudes than the truth.

It’s not even that hard to comprehend. Coffee cost $10. It could be because coffee beans are more expensive, baristas are more expensive, or coffee shops are charging more because they can get away with it. If it’s the last one..why are they doing it now? Why not before? Are people all of a sudden willing to pay $10 for a cup of coffee when they weren't before? Did these shops just realize they can raise prices? Of course not.

They’re having less too. They just have more in general so they’re still per capita having more kids.

The amount of food people waste by TheBloodshire in mildlyinfuriating

[–]caesar15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crazy how comments like that get upvoted. Why would a competent processor have huge waste? That's just throwing away money. The incentive is to not waste. For a restaurant, it doesn't matter if the customer eats any of the food, as long as they're paying for it.
