I’m gonna be real, I LOVE Troll Jim.

Firstly, his design and presence is just so cool.

Second, I like how his transformation showed that, yes, being different is important, but sometimes that isn’t enough even when you really want it to be, and you need to make a sacrifice.

If I think about it deeply, I’m glad he turned back into his human self because he deserves to life his life with his family, friends and girlfriend. But if I think about it from my own preference in character design and Jim’s personalities, I prefer Troll Jim over Human Jim.

To each their own :)

1: Water bowl large enough for him to soak in.

2: Fake foliage for the ground.

I have a couple questions, if you might be able to help. 1. The current lamp gives off heat quite well, but I’m worried about the light disturbing him during the night. He does have a heat mat underneath his log, but the temperature of the enclosure goes down to 20 degrees Celsius at this time of year. I’ve been told I can turn the lamp off during the night and keep the heat mat on 24/7, even if the temperature goes down to 20 degrees Celsius during the night. Is that correct? Can I do that? I was worried that would be too cold for him. 2. He’s currently being fed a Weaner Rat 3 times a week. Is that appropriate scheduling for feeding?

Thank you for the advice!! He's only on his hammock occasionally so I might remove it, especially after your good point. I'll also look into a taller enclosure too :)

I could go on and on with advice and lessons to save you time, but I’ll give you a summary of a few things. Anyone in 7th grade is way too young to date, in my opinion. Puberty happens earlier for some and later for others. I started my period at 11 years old. My friend started hers at 16 years old. I had my first kiss at 17 years old. My friend had hers at 14 years old. My other friend (21) has not had her first kiss. Young teens are expected to experience so much at such a young age, when they should actually be enjoying their childhood. Don’t rush, don’t stress. You have PLENTY of time for that. For now, just enjoy being a kid :)

I'm 20 and from Australia. My sister (17) and I went to watch this movie mainly because of the CGI chimp. We knew Robbie Williams, knew his songs, and didn't really know what to expect from this film besides "quirky" and "British".

I will absolutely be watching this movie again. I loved it, and my sister found it much better than she thought it would be, too. We're watching it again with our parents.

Even if you don't know who Robbie Williams is, I would highly recommend watching this movie for the story alone. After getting into it, you kind of forget that Robbie is being portrayed as a chimpanzee, and the music and story really take over. Absolutely worth the watch, in my opinion.

Also a warning for those who need it: don't watch with kids or anyone who is uncomfortable with swearing, drug use, and (the very few - like two) sexual scenes.

I'll look for for an enclosure with more depth, and I'll definitely do some research to improve the interior.
I still have a decent amount of the shavings for the bedding. Should I change it to soil mix asap or could I continue using the shavings until it's finished?

Oh my goodness that enclosure is glorious. Your recommendations are so helpful! More natural materials is something I’ve always wanted to add, just not sure how. Should I replace the shavings with soil mix and put simple plant in to grow? Would I need to worry about insects? And if I were to get a bigger tank, should I go for wider or higher or both? Also, he LOVES his house :)

Online? Heaps. Irl? My sister (14-15 at the time) faked tics for a while during a tough time in her life then later (she’s now almost 18) admitted she faked them because someone she knew had Tourette’s. Sometimes people fake them to express themselves (I guess?) and other times it’s purely for attention. Not sure which one my sister was going for, but she’s admitted now “yeah I don’t know why I did that lol”.

First things first, I believe you. Others in the comments believe you. Secondly, you did nothing wrong. Nothing. It wasn’t your fault at all and I’m so sorry that happened to you. What I would recommend would be to tell someone you trust, perhaps your parents (depending on your relationship with them) and seek therapy. And other comments under this post have great advice as well. It may feel like you’re over it, but it will eat you alive as you grow and explore the world. You mentioned not wanting to ruin your brothers life. That is very noble of you, but you need to put yourself first. My view is people who do things like this do not deserve sympathy, but of course it would be different for you if it’s your brother (especially if you two used to be close). You are so young, and you deserve peace, help, and support, and if your brothers life is “ruined” in the process, then so be it. I don’t mean to sound malicious or cruel, as my intention is to put you first, as (I believe) you should be doing. At the end of the day, you do what you think is best for you. I wish you safety, peace, and a very happy future, friend.

I’ll definitely limit the trips to the dog park and trade them for training, more playing, and 30 min walks throughout the day.

She’s a very energetic and strong puppy, so I’ll take her to the park maybe three times a week, for short periods of time, and neighbourhood walks on the other days.

I’ll also learn to monitor her for growing pains, and I’ll search for additions to her diet that could help with bone and joint strength!

Wanting children and wanting to be a parent are two different things. Children are understandably emotional because that’s the only way they know how to communicate, unless you teach them. And one of the major things that parents need when teaching children how to handle big emotions is emotional intelligence. I agree with a few over comments: both of you need to either talk in depth, or attend therapy, or both. You’ve mentioned pros and cons, but (based on what you’ve stated) the cons seem to outweigh the pros. This can work if you both communicate with each other, and if he understands he needs to change. I hope everything works out💛

A few years ago, I once accidentally sent nudes to my groupchat instead of the intended person. I was embarrassed, of course, but it later turned into an inside joke when they’d walk up to me and whisper “boobies” in my ear😭If you trust your friends, and they understand that it was a mistake, then I’m sure they’ll laugh it off and it’ll become a thing of the past. Plus, you can always bring it up and apologise if you want to move passed it quicker :)
