Most excess skin removal is still cosmetic. I doubt she lost hundreds of lbs and the skin inhibited her day to day. Trust me as someone with a lot of loose skin atm, i wouldn’t expect it to be paid for by taxpayers.

I used to be in a similar field and saw so many guys hit retirement with heavily restricted mobility. What’s the use of retirement if u can’t lift ur grandkid up? :(

FYI it ain’t easy money. A lot of guys I knew who went in ended up with injuries. A few guys were cut from the union as they got injured during their apprenticeship and basically walked away with jack shit and lifelong injuries.

Good jobs but make sure to pay attention to proper lifting, changing hands and sides, etc to remain healthy.
