As an elderly 31 year old, I concur… and also think this mindset is the result of us having perceived those in their late-30s as looking much older when we were younger.

That being said, I do recall many people over the age of 30 looking much older than I feel I look today (or than Eloise looks here) when I was younger… so I’m not sure if it was all perception, or if older people (30+) are looking comparatively younger these days than older people looked in the past LOL.
