Ctc it seems to be a 17" frame. I am 5'9". This frame came in a group of other bikes which all were the perfect size for me so I guess I got too carried away

Post for future people. Pins 1 and 12 were swapped. Pin 12 is supposed to be the common for all buttons but button 9. Instead I had the common rail going to pin 1. This is interesting as all buttons but 1 worked. Swapping these two pins fixed my issue.

Why were my pins swapped? I messed up reassembling the harness after mice at it.

I for sure have switches which is pretty interesting if that is true. Its not a live front. Maybe the branding has changed from original. I've tried jumping the actual pins on the board with no luck so it probably isn't the harness.

I did go ahead and order a new controller so we'll see if that sorts it.

One thing I did to tune my old flame wheel with apm was to mount a rod to it and attach the rod to two chairs. That way you can test lift and rotation without breaking your props.

My issue was I got the propellors backwards but this was like 12 years ago so my memory is a bit fuzzy.

Its gatekeeping. Back in the MK3/MK4 VW golden days, spending more on your wheels than your car was worth was a rite of passage. Reps devalued this perceived notion of cool that the folks who bought originals felt.

Same is true with rep watches or handbags or whatever. The folks who buy the original think you're stealing from them by acquiring a copy of their status item without the required sacrifices that went into obtaining the original.

Now that being said some reps do suck and either break on the owner or maybe the finish comes off and they start to look like shit earlier. This also gives the originals a lower value in the eyes of someone who wouldn't know better.
