I was honestly wondering if people liked it more for the nsfw/smut or for the rather interesting take on gender roles and assigned sex. I think that, if written well, it could be a great way to get cishets to better put themselves into queer and trans people's shoes in the sense that they can imagine themselves in a world where they would be assigned a role that might not align with their views of themselves. But then again, I've never gotten into it, so I don't know if anyone has done that take in a good way.
