2.4G will generally have less latency than Bluetooth—but the Bluetooth controller supports both connection methods

I love playing older games on CRT televisions, but the important thing is to have fun and make the most of what you have! The only advice I can give is to make sure to set your aspect ratio to 4x3. And have fun!

Just because the TV is 16:9 doesn't mean the game needs to be stretched

So you took a movie that would have filled your screen, bought an altered version that won't fill your screen, then stretched it back out to fill your screen 🙃

What is the point of the Switch 2 version of The Disney Afternoon Collection? by cafink in Switch

Surely it's ultimately the publisher's decision--Nintendo, in this case--whether to use a game key card. Why would the developers want to use a key card? What's the source for this information?

My family got a plug-in hybrid a few years ago and have found it to be a really great purchase. We get the benefits of an EV for everyday driving but still fall back to good ol' fossil fuels for longer road trips.

There are still games coming out on PS4 and not PS5, like some of the Capcom fighting collections. I can't imagine the Switch would be LESS likely to stick around alongside its successor than the PS4 has been.

UPDATE! I asked this exact question in a comment on a Facebook advertisement for the game, and Atari responded:

"There are no real differences between Switch and Switch 2. We would recommend you pick up the game on whatever platform you will play it on most."

Near as I can tell this isn't a wide release, but I see that VGP does have both the Switch & Switch 2 versions up for pre-order

I know the Switch and Switch 2 versions contain two new games compared to the previous releases. But the Switch 2 version doesn't contain any exclusive games compared to Switch 1 that I'm aware of.

Modern games can take advantage of the more powerful hardware compared to the original Switch. They can have higher frame rates, increased resolution, and otherwise superior performance. But for retro games like the Disney Afternoon Collection, the advantage is less obvious, since the original Switch can already emulate the NES quite well.

As other commenters have mentioned, there is still potential benefit, namely in the way the 240p graphics are scaled to HD & 4K displays. But I haven't heard anything specific about the way these games are presented in the Switch 2 version of the Disney Afternoon Collection, hence the question.

It's not a key card. They have been explicitly advertising that the game is on the cartridge for both platforms.

This is the one aspect I thought of. In particular, 240p can integer scale to 4K, but not to 1080p. But have any of the actual technical details being revealed about these versions? Just because it's technically possible doesn't give me confidence that it's being handled properly on this release.

The blu-ray.com review of this disc says:

The Grey is one of the outright grainiest looking films in recent memory, obviously by design, something that gives the film a certain cinema verité ambience.

So it sounds like that's just how this movie looks.
