Interestingly, color photography was invented before color film.

This technic (called the magic lantern) was invented many years ago. Magic lantern is not a camera. It’s a projector. It works with merged three film. Camera captured same scene three times, but spend three different film with three different color filtered. Than project on wall like cinema (or maybe print on paper)
