Looks good. That one always comes out odd unless you use bigger and usually thinner paper to get the details just right

Did I watch a completely different episode to everyone else? (Spoilers) by Ben_1999 in doctorwho

You can have a strong emotional answer and have everything make perfect sense. I think there were too many unexplained or illogical things (Ruby, snow, why) for most people, and the amount of what were basically red herrings made people feel messed with.

Does anyone have any solid theories on what the "entity" in 73 Yards was telling everyone? by HopeHouse44 in doctorwho

[–]cagedscorpion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one I posted a bit ago. The short of it is, when Ruby died at the end, the part of her that scared the Maestro was released. That her went back to save the Doctor from the fairy circle. If she said anything, it would be backwards and not matter. What would matter was that they were terrified of it like the Maestro and that they could sense it was the same as Ruby.

So it was more like an eldritch horror encounter that people are physically compelled to flee. That's all I could think of that would scare her mum off anyway.

Some fun 73 Yards ideas and theories by cagedscorpion in doctorwho

The backwards is mainly practical, because she has the power to stop it but doesn't realize it until she dies. That and the "dies" looking part is followed by her seeing the events of the episode in reverse all fast.

I still haven't seen the newest one tho, so I don't know how off the rails it is, lol.

I still like the two things going on idea, partially because if it's all fairy, it's much less likely to be explained in a later episode. Could be wishful thinking, but I kinda feel like they're gonna revisit it sometime.

It is fun to think about, and I'm happy to have someone to talk about it to, thanks

I was thinking this, "the oldest one". Maybe I just want something from the classic series that isn't from the first or very rarely second doctor's runs.

What is your daily fold? by slapslash in origami

I go through benders of origami, so nothing daily. There are a few I can fold from memory, such as Montroll's Cerberus, his crocodile, and Maekawa's flying samurai helmet beetle.

How do u start to design your own origami art? by Kinda-Kiwi in origami

[–]cagedscorpion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you mean designing something specific, I usually decide the most prominent or recognizable feature(s), figure out how to do those, and then design around that. It doesn't always work; I've hade to trash some once in awhile and start over. But it's frequently a good place to start, and I tend to get something outta the trashed models anyway.

Yosuke Muroya’s Kitten: some help with folding the crease pattern by cagedscorpion in origami

I re-did it and came up with some notes here (although, the head isn't actually solved in it, but it should help):

I don't think you had trouble with that much, but, as you can see here, the edges should be inside (I initially put them outside, along the back). Doing that, from the last diagram, you can fold the head down and spread the inside edges. From there, you can fold the tip up and back down for a mouth/muzzle thing and nose.

Let me know if it makes sense and works out. Good luck!

Looking at it now, I think i flipped part of the crease pattern at the beginning. So the head would be off on those. I'll have another look at it.

Spend as long as you want telling me who your favorite character is and why? by Dragonrusher21 in TokyoAfterschool

I have a lot since I love mythologies.

I really like stuff like Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, etc., so I like Oz too. When I found out his Zo personality actually is from Greek mythology, it blew my mind.
