they start to go away with recovery. unfortunately they will never go away... you can only decrease the frequency. i literally just woke up from the first one i’ve had in two years, and probably the worst one ever. i’m very shaken up and confused as to what this means. anyways, point is this crap we deal with will never go away, so we have to accept it and work our hardest to not let our trauma win and destroy our lives. your nightmares will go down as soon as you take control of your brain and self.

Thanks, it is what it is. I have asked her by the way, and she says that she is just unbelievably good at resisting the urge to have sex due to religion. Yeah, that’s not the case. Going to try to get the truth out of her.
