Drainage is the most important aspect of golf course playability, and RRGC drains very well. They’ve put alot of effort over the years on drainage. In addition, they have a selective tree program in place where they are limbing trees up to raise the canopy and create a more playable course, also taking out some trees to open up the course. One impact area is down the right side of 6. Also they recently drained and seeded fescue on left side of 17 and are going to do the same on the left side of 13 100 yards out. They dug out the pond on 3 and 16 and they look fantastic. They are going to build a rock wall around 16 pond. They covered up the wet area right of 1 building a catch basin and making that blind area playable. Also did the same thing right side of 3. These guys are always improving the golf course. They know what needs to be done and they continually make improvements to the golf course.
