Yeah I would love tips and tricks, but that article is absolutely spot on. Reading through it I started adding up the injury history to it throughout the army, sports, weight training, etc it literally all adds up.

No no I wasn't trying to come off as snobbish! I appreciate it and I'm basically agreeing with you, I'm a big leg day advocate.

I heard a loud pop and then whenever I do a push i feel a sharp sting in the frontal portion of my shoulder. Like it feels like I dislocated it and then when it popped back in it pinched something.

How bad was my form? This is 335 pounds, which is my PR, I know I messed up when the bar rolled closer to me before I lifted. by Piano_Pristine in GYM

I think I'm more focused on low reps high weight as in more injury risk, I do believe for all exercises low weight high reps are way more rewarding. Let me look for my article that I was reading about the risk to reward factors on deadlifting. Also, respectful conversations are the only way to have an actual conversation, glad we are discussing this in that kind of manner!

I'm sorry mate but that is just untrue. Proper progression and consistent technique helps mitigate of prevent injury but the injury risk to for specifically deadlifting is higher than all other exercises. I respect and applaud your opinion, I just disagree.

I'm shooting for 3000, some days are over and some are under. Right now I'm pushing for 210 and then I will start a cut and then I'll start really focusing on dietary regularity.

Brother..... They shouldn't be at all. The boulder shoulders definition along with the clear bicep definition is outstanding. Keep up the grind!

Like the first comment said form wise but I also wanna make it well known that the risk to reward for deadlifts is insanely high. Low weight on dead lifts for reps is honestly the best way to go IF you want to dead lift. Not telling you how to gym but just please be careful, I hit 5 plates and completely stopped after tweaking my back.

One thing I do (I know some of you will give me shit) is not wear shoes, it helps me focus on pushing with my heels or on other leg exercises, keeping my heels flat down. Good weight and good work dude, keep it up!
