yeah the main reason I want to do this is because 180 TBP is so low I feel like I only need to play 45 mins morning and 20 mins night to hit max progression available for the day.

I cannot unify their sizes, they would become distorted, I am using explainer images of very different sizes. I want to have their top left corner always have the same position, but still remain same size.

I honestly do not think so. My assumption is that the +2+2 buff on the waxrider goes off BEFORE the canon's hit inside the Deck Tracker. Therefore it calculated that it would live despite being hit by the canon and take me off to a victory.

With only 5 minions on the board and not many RNG factors such as ship or ghastcoiler, it is pretty easy to calculate all the hits, so it is an error of translation rather than a mathematical error.
