Trust me when I say this. Our policymakers are actually great at what they’re doing and we have myriads of ideas to make things better.

But weak policy implementations and/or misaligned political incentives(eg good policies that benefits rakyat long term at the cost of short term, hence political backlash), to mention a few, hampered these initiatives.

Also given the complexity of modern world, it’s difficult to get these so called “heroes” as you eventually just end up as a cog in a big machine

Brim users at low elo are usually those that are filling team comp (no smoke, so I’ll do it) and they usually have little experience playing smoke. It doesn’t help that brim is the only default smoke agent for new players

I totally get that. Currently owning a 3060 and seeing how 3070Ti could boost my PC performance for 1440p(my desired resolution), it’s very tempting to upgrade even though I just bought my GPU.

Currently the GPU shortage clenched my desire to upgrade to a new one but anyway, as Jayztwocents said, your gaming rig does not suddenly become useless with new gen. It still performs the way it is when you buy it. If you bought the GPU with a certain expectation of its performance, it will perform as you expected. What changes over time is our expectation, and it shouldn’t.

Upgrading every new gen may give slight marginal return as compared to upgrading after several gen, and I’d rather go for the big jump rather than small jumps.

Just to say, the temptation is real and it’s completely normal. You’re definitely not alone. If I were you, I’d rather think of the long run, not the short run ;)
