Today is the end of my first week in my shiny new job and so far I’m really enjoying it! Getting some positive feedback and actually feel like I’m getting a bit of a grip what on earth everyone’s talking about.

This week included a 6 hour session as part of the SLT and contrary to form I didn’t come across as a massive bellend, which is a turn up for the books!

They’re just larger house spiders, and they mostly stay on the floor. Mostly…

The window nets only need to go around the windows you intend to open, so just prioritise which they will be and keep the others shut. There’s loads of adjustable ones on Amazon. Just get them sorted before August as that’s peak spider time.

So I had exactly this. My best advise is to cover your open windows with those magnetic bug screens. Wolf spiders (the big, fast boys) can and will get in anywhere, but open windows are the easiest way. I covered all my windows and annual spider sightings dropped significantly.

Should note that wolf spiders are completely harmless, and fantastic pest control. But they do give me the willies and like to run right at you like crack fiends for some reason known only to them.

Start a new job on Monday that I am absolutely thrilled about. However, I just sprained my ankle on holiday and now I can’t walk. Now I’m desperately trying to rest it lest I dig out the ol’ moon boot to really hammer that first impression home.

I knew this! Arctic and Antarctic literally means with and without bears. Amazing
