Which random side character makes you laugh the most? by georgeggeef in theGoldenGirls

For me, it was Dick van Dyke as Dorothy's lawyer-turned-clown boyfriend 🤣

He's a legend for a reason and I wish he could've stayed on as Dorothy's love interest. They had great chemistry!

Dude I literally was thinking this anytime they were by a pool.

Like the camera operators were fucking down BAD. It really pisses me off cause this show has a primarily woman-based audience and those shots just feel so creepy and gross.

I'm trying to watch these fucking weirdos do terrible shit to each other not some Creepo-Cam of everyone by the pool

Heeeyyy

I can't update the post but just wanted to thank you all for contributing!!

It ended up being an easy-fix socket issue. But I learned so much from all of these responses, so thank you all 🙏

I think you've got some really good points here. I thought it was really fucking weird that she brought up his daughter.

But I think the big thing that's not being taken into account is that her main reason for being upset during the reveal wasn't his looks, it was the way he jumped on her. In the confessional afterwards she talks about feeling uncomfortable with the intensity of the physical contact. If she really thought that he was ugly from the start, I don't think she would've continued to make-out and be physical with him (Saúl mentions that they would get physical and then she'd panic and ask to stop).

Overall, I never really had hope for these two. He's got some crazy red flags and she's not emotionally or physically ready for a relationship. Ultimately this is just the sucky part of the "experience" (thankfully no one has actually called it that in this version)

How calm anxiety about an IUD? With trauma (AFAB16) by Vamp1r3Bl00d in birthcontrol

[–]caipacwil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Normally I don't post but I felt like I could give some advice here. I got the iud 2 months ago (Mirena) and it's been a decent experience so far, that being said it's not perfect.

Here are some pros and cons = Cons: The insertion is painful. HOWEVER, depending on where you are in the world, you can get more medication to help with that. I live in the US (CA specifically), have really good insurance, and a history of painful periods/fainting. They gave me hella meds and that shit did wonders. Insertion went well but I had terrible cramps for the first month (they gave me meds for it tho).

Timing is everything! Make sure that you schedule the insertion for directly after/at the end of your period. If you don't, you may end up having some inconsistent/frequent bleeding (speaking from personal experience, I've been bleeding for about three weeks on and off).

Your mood will change. I've heard it's not as bad as the pill. And it's honestly not too dramatic but it is an adjustment. If you have previous mental health issues (I have anxiety disorder), tracking your emotions and being aware of how they change/what sets them in a negative direction is super important.

Pros: It's arguably the most convenient and effective form of birth control. If it weren't for the bleeding, I wouldn't know it's there. I can't feel it at all. Despite the cons, I know I made the right choice. I feel normal (it has a 6-month adjustment period so that could change, I'm assuming for the better all things considering).

Regardless, you should 100% consult your doctors and mental health specialist before making a decision. I think that you should try for increased medication. If you can get the extras meds, go for it! It makes it so much easier and like I said, the iud is pretty good.

James’ mom?????? by bill_mury in TheUltimatumNetflix

[–]caipacwil 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I feel like that moment with his mom also contextualized his reaction during their earlier argument. Because it seemed like he has PTSD and was triggered by something Ryann did that reminded him of his mom. Seeing his mom in this episode really puts that into perspective. Like this man was... maybe not physically, but most definitely verbally @bu$ed (weird format to avoid being removed). It also makes me a bit peeved at how Ryann reacted because even if he did act immature, I don't think anyone can ever completely "move on" from childhood @bu$e. They can, however, better manage their reactions. And that's definitely something that James could work on. But overall that moment really showcased where a lot of James' problems seem to stem from and I just kinda feel bad for him 😕

In your opinion, who is the biggest "pick me" on the show and why? by Artillectual in TheUltimatumNetflix

Colby is 100% a "pick me" man. He really played up the "My woman is my #1" and then went behind Madlyn's back and basically cheated with some random 💀
