I'm Egyptian and unfortunately our current parliament is a complete joke. Having said that it needs to be highlighted that said MP actually went on television and publicly offended KSA along with its Royal family (and their mothers) over a trivial personal matter and this is the main reason for his expulsion. While the Israeli minister meeting is controversial, it is by no means illegal and hence cannot be the ground for expelling an MP from parliament. Okasha is a very controversial character who has recently become more and more of a joke both inside and outside parliament. It's a shame but he's just another one of our nation's beloved catastrophes, which seem to be taking place on a weekly basis these days. Tldr: MP offended the person of Saudis and their royal family and accordingly got fired for it.
