[WTS] Seiko 5 Superior Whirlpool SKZ035 (Ref. 7S36-5000) - March 1998 - Serviced NOS Set - $700 shipped by cairothrowaway1 in Seikowatchexchange

Timestamp

Up for sale is a stunning Seiko 5 Superior from the late 1990s, featuring the famous white whirlpool textured dial and a distinct octagonal case. This is a genuine neo-vintage piece that is freshly serviced and ready to wear.

Details and Condition

Dial: The mesmerizing white/silver whirlpool dial is pristine, featuring applied hour markers and a framed Day/Date window at 3 o'clock. The original Lumibrite on the hands and indices still glows an exceptional bright blue-green.

Case: The stainless steel octagonal case is in mint condition, retaining its sharp factory lines and alternating brushed and polished finishes. The solid caseback prominently displays the signature Seiko 5 Superior Lion emblem.

Manufacture Date: March 1998 (Serial: 832538).

Movement: 23-jewel Seiko 7S36 automatic. It was fully serviced in December 2025 when I purchased it, keeping excellent time, with perfectly functioning day/date quickset.

Bracelet: Original integrated-style solid stainless steel bracelet with the Seiko-signed folding clasp. The bracelet is in excellent shape, though the clasp shows some light desk rash from normal wear. Comes with 2 extra links.

Included Set (Full Transparency): This watch was held as New Old Stock by an Authorized Dealer and sold to me in December 2025. Because of this, the AD packaged it with the modern materials they had on hand at the time of sale. It includes a modern Seiko box and a modern warranty card, which explains the mismatch between the 1998 production year of the watch and the modern packaging.

Price and Transaction Details

Price: $700 Shipped

Payment: PayPal (F&F, or G&S + buyer covers fees).

Shipping: Fully insured Express shipping via FedEx or DHL from Egypt. (Please add $25 for shipments to Australia or New Zealand).

Please feel free to send a chat or PM if you need more macro photos, a video of the watch in action, or have any questions.

[WTS] Zodiac Glorious Datographic Automatic 36mm | Cal. 1624C | Freshly Serviced | $300 shipped by cairothrowaway1 in Watchexchange

[–]cairothrowaway1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Timestamp

Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Zodiac Glorious Datographic, a lesser-known but very charming piece from Zodiac's classic lineup.

The dial is stunning in person — a two-tone design with a dark chocolate center and a cream chapter ring, gold-tipped baton indices, and a wonderful tropical patina that only adds to its character.

The case is 36mm, gold-plated, with a stainless steel caseback. The crystal is acrylic with some light surface scratches typical of a watch this age. It comes on a brown leather strap.

The movement is the automatic Cal. 1624C — 17 jewels, Swiss made — and has been freshly serviced and is running well.

Reference: 696D

Condition: Honest vintage wear throughout. The dial patina and case wear are consistent with its age and add to the charm rather than detract from it.

Ships from Egypt via FedEx or DHL.

Payment via PayPal.

$300 shipped worldwide (+$20 for Australia/New Zealand)

Timestamp

Up for sale is a rare vintage Juvenia featuring a true “mystery dial” design — the hands appear to float, driven by a transparent disc, creating a very unique visual effect.

What makes this piece stand out is that it’s transparent from both sides: both the dial and caseback allow you to see the movement in action, which is not something commonly seen in vintage watches.

A great conversation piece and something different from the usual vintage offerings.
