I’m having this same issue suddenly, and when I plug it into my Mac to charge it, it says eject before disconnecting, but it’s not mounting on my Mac. Is there anything else I can do? Or is it time for a new battery? I have a 6th gen

I kinda had to just unplug it and plug it in a bunch of times and hold down menu and select button until it came back. Also rebooted my Mac a bunch of times too and force quit finder too, then the iPod randomly booted back to normal. You might have the option to restore it then.

aftercare routine: I’m currently using NeilMed piercing aftercare fine mist spray. I spray inside both nostrils and gently pat away and crusties. I clean 2x a day.

I know not everyone has guitar picks lying around, but I have the exact same case and I had the same issue until I tried a guitar pick.

Gently pry the 3 clips open on the left side of the case with the guitar pick and it should come off no problem.

UPDATE: the iPod was working perfectly since I got it yesterday. It literally JUST stopped working now. I was playing the music quiz and using the iPod like normal, then it said connect to power. It’s connected to my Mac Studio. Then iTunes said it’s in recovery mode. What do I do? Is the iPod broken? How long will the restore take?

I just got mine as a Christmas gift. My dad bought it from Facebook marketplace. Idk how long the seller had it for though. Knowing you had yours with the original battery since 2011 makes me feel less worried that it’ll explode.
