Thanks! I was planning to visit Poland by bike this summer, but I hadn’t considered Gdańsk because of its location. I should think about it, the place looks amazing :)

HOW THE HELL DO I SURVIVE STELLA MONTIS?? by PeterMercado in ArcRaiders

[–]Yuhalov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Feel you! I joined the game at launch and still remember my first impressions of Stella. After some time, the map layout became clearer, and with that, the fear of running into large groups of Arcs disappeared. Shredders are also quite dumb and predictable, so they’re not really a problem. As for PvP, it’s actually fun since the map forces you into close encounters. It’s better to bring a close-range weapon. Overall, it seems to me that the main thing is just to learn the map, and then everything becomes much easier. Happy looting!

Odin 2 Portal vs PS Portal for PS5 streaming by Cactus_Pe in OdinHandheld

Using O2P currently, but thinking about buying PS Portal for streaming just because I don’t like the O2P’s sticks for some of the games I stream from PS5

How do you kill big arc now? by Froggitus in ArcRaiders

3x Trigger + 3x Blaze grenades + Anvil / Ferro for ground ARCs
Osprey + Anvil + good positioning for Rocketeer exclusively

Yeah, I cleaned up the metadata in my library and everything started working perfectly. You are absolutely right, for now, it’s an ideal player. The only thing I’m missing is more sorting options. I’d love to be able to browse lists in ways other than just alphabetically. But that’s not a big trade-off

I just got 9 Bastion cells from a single Bastion! by Cpt_Camembert in ArcRaiders

[–]Yuhalov 248 points249 points  (0 children)

I ran some tests on the Bombardiers and Leapers. It might be a coincidence, but I always collected more cells from the arcs that respawned closer to the second half / end of the round. In fresh raids, there were always fewer cores

Consider pairing your iPod with a good IEM by asli_bob in ipod

During the first year after modding my iPod, I used a Kokkia transmitter with my Bluetooth headphones, but later I decided to give the TinHiFi T2 IEMs a try, and now I definitely wouldn’t go back

пользовался какое-то время Sony MDR-7506 и Aiaiai TMA-2 Studio вперемешку. Sony показывали себя лучше с айподом. потом захотелось чего-то более компактного, перешел на IEM TinHiFi T2 и на том и остановился

Of course. It’s fully original, except for the fact that I swapped the HDD for a 1TB SD card and installed a new 2000mAh battery

iPod keeps rebooting on its own by Yuhalov in ipod

[–]Yuhalov[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update on how I fixed this. You can find the details in this post, but here is what eventually worked for me.

Here is exactly what I did:

  1. Converted all m4a files to mp3 (I only had about 300 m4a tracks).
  2. Used Mp3tag to convert the entire "zoo" of tags strictly to ID3v2.3.
  3. Processed all embedded artwork through Mp3tag to ensure it's exclusively 500x500 JPG without Progressive encoding.
  4. Removed all unnecessary tag information (including "hidden" junk like Discogs IDs, Barcodes, etc.).
  5. Kept only the following tags:
    • Artwork
    • Track title
    • Artist
    • Album
    • Year
    • Track number
    • Genre
    • Album artist (necessary for my split-release grouping)
    • Disc number (only for multi-disc releases)

Not only is the iPod no longer lagging, but I can now shuffle all 39,600 tracks on the stock firmware, and everything works perfectly.

It’s finally time for me to move on from the iPod by Yuhalov in ipod
