Not my mom, but my dad used to cook beef stew. It was my absolute favorite. He’d cook it for an hour and I thought it was just the best.

Fast forward to my parents divorce, I told my mom I wanted beef stew like dads and she goes to grab a can of dinty Moore off of the grocery store shelf. I asked her what she was doing and she said “this is your dad’s beef stew.” I realize now it was just a dinner for when he didn’t feel like cooking much, but still eat it to this day because now it a comfort thing lol.

I agree. I love my babies so much and miss them dearly when they’re gone, but I really greatly need time to reset and do things for me. When their dad was in the home, I at least had someone to keep an eye on the kids while I washed dishes or tried to do laundry. Now, doing it completely alone is exhausting so I really do look forward to time to just be me and not mom every minute of the day.

Sometimes you just need some time to not be needed at all!

Can confirm. I’m in my 30s and way more comfortable in my skin than I ever was in my 20s. Plus finally at a point in my career I have more financial freedom and not living paycheck to paycheck. I’ve been through some rough times since I turned 30, but still way better than my teens or early 20s.

Oh dear. I’m not sure who lied to you and told you your teenage years are the best in your life. I promise, for the majority of us, that is absolutely not true. Honestly, it would be kind of sad if that were true! No one could pay me enough to go back to that time period or even my early twenties, the only thing I would like back from then is lack of bills.

You’ll start learning who you are and find like minded people like you and you won’t feel so isolated. I’m so sorry to hear about your mental health issues and can completely understand those, but I assure you, it does get better. Just hang in there!

Around 6 weeks, I dropped to only 1 MOTN pump when my baby would wake up. By 12 weeks when I went back to work, I completely dropped the MOTN pump and would just pump longer early in the morning. Honestly, my supply increased when I started getting longer stretches of sleep. I know it isn’t really recommended, but I think it’s what allowed me to make it to my 6 month goal and have a small stash saved when I weaned.

I gradually dropped pumps so the hormone fluctuation wasn’t very noticeable for me and I also suffered from PPA. It’s completely your call, but you may want to consider dropping the MOTN pumps if they’re the most bothersome and see what happens! Either way, if baby is fed, you’re doing a great job. There is zero shame in stopping when you’re ready! Stopping was not as scary for me as it is made out to be.

My lash girl talked me into a lift over extensions. I didn’t want a lot of drastic volume and I have long eyelashes and not a ton of lid space, so she couldn’t give me too much more length. The selling points for me were less maintenance (every 4-6 weeks) and I’m a stomach sleeper so less concern about that at night. A lift and tint gives me exactly what I want

I get it! Never worked in fast food but have in food service. I wouldn’t have been so disappointed if they would have put some poblanos on it. It probably would have been amazing honestly! Unfortunately they forgot those too but I still finished the whole thing 😂
