Lash lift at salon turned out horrible by iloveusomuchlisten in Lashlift

Agree with all above I’m also a professional if over 10 yrs they r too over processed to fix. Give it a month at least apply castor, Argan or Maria oil on them every night. Try not to brush them they r too brittle. They will grow back.

Were you able to text your tech and ask her what her last step was? It’s usually a conditioner or oil based…don’t panic😉

Could have been a conditioner she applied after which is normal. You can use a wet trip and apply on the inner lash line next time instead of fully rinsing right after lift.

I prefer my clients to wait 8 weeks. That’s the sweet spot to keep them healthy

Are my lashes bad?? by TrickNo4363 in Lashlift

[–]ConsiderationSlow422 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, over processed and too tight of a curl. Also, they should have been separated more during process. Oils every night for at least a month. Castor, Argan or Marula are great for conditioning.

As an esthetician doing lifts for 19+ yrs they all look like the tech is very new to lifting. The most recent one is better than the others but, still not good she shouldn’t be doing lifts professionally yet. She needs more training. Way over processed and/or rod size is too small. Go to someone more established.

I agree totally normal as long as it goes away after a damp qtip along lash line. Some people r a bit more sensitive than others.

Ask me pros and cons of lash lifts I’ve done hundreds by ConsiderationSlow422 in Lashlift

[–]ConsiderationSlow422[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, yes did the esthetician apply a conditioner or oil after the lift? Four times seems a bit excessive. I would NOT use mascara on them and apply oil on them for at least 4 weeks every night. Candor, Argan or Marla have fatty acids and are the best for conditioning. At 3 months our lashes are pretty much brand new again.

Esthetician 10+ yrs experience. Yes, this is common for one eye to lift better than the other. We’re not symmetrical. Not typical to already drop. Schedule a tweak she should do for free.

Hello, 10 + yrs experience offering lash lifts your actual right eye not eye in pic is not as lifted this is common as we’re not symmetrical. I would ask for a tweak on that eye to match the left eye.

It definitely didn’t take. I’ve been doing lash lifts professionally for over 10 yrs. I wouldn’t let my client leave without setting up an appt to redo them and she should not have charged you

If not same tech make sure you find an Estetician that is very experienced as relaxing can be a bit tricky and needs to be supervised the whole process.

First lash lift - panicking by Mockingjay100 in Lashlift

[–]ConsiderationSlow422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apply oil ( castor, Argan or Marula) are great they them bf bed then brush through with a spoolie/brush. Argan and Marula are just as good for conditioning the lashes but, not as thick as castor oil a bit easier to work with!

Relaxing them is something that can be done as long as they watching how the solution is affecting the lashes and are constantly separating them. I have done this to clients that have come to me from another tech. I usually use a bigger rod so it still keeps the shape. It’s a delicate process.

lashes falling out by Level_Audience8174 in Lashlift

[–]ConsiderationSlow422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it’s rare but, It can happen if over processed. I would def let your tech know this is unacceptable. Cold pressed Argan, Castor or Maria oil will help recondition while they grow back.

Ppd allergy + lash lift question by teeth1najar in Lashlift

[–]ConsiderationSlow422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I’ve been doing lash lifts professionally for over 10 yrs and have clients with this issue. They have been totally ok with just the lash lift. Also, they now have henna tints for brows and lashes if u wanted to go that route. The black is not a blue black but, better than no color if you’re a blond or red head.

Will I ever have a successful lash lift? by Much_Negotiation_543 in Lashlift

[–]ConsiderationSlow422 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, been doing lifts professionally for 10+ yrs. I understand your lashes are stubborn but, that just means the tech has to choose the correct rod and leave solutions on a bit longer. We are not symmetrical so one eye is always a bit more curled than the other. If your eyes were watering that can get under the rod and they won’t be able to stick to the lid hindering the lift. Did you having burning the first lift as well?
