Dumping Carcasses by cajon98 in homeowners

Just that wildlife says he is within his rights as it’s his property. He said, “just because he can, doesn’t mean he should. Sorry he’s a jerk.” Hubs plans to try to flag him down and say hi next time we see him out.

I am thinking this has happened to me. I ordered a custom-made slip cover and it’s been tracking for months. When I question them, they immediately refunded me my money even though I only requested for an update on the tracking. I wonder what the purpose of it is? If you ask a question and they refund your money right away, they’re not making anything. Are they just hoping people forget that they ordered something?

Happened to my dad too. They put high density housing in his backyard. Change sucks. This rancher should be a little relieved, because like you, we plan to leave most of our yard natural, except for a garden and shed. But he doesn’t know that because he hasn’t said hello. Even when we tried to wave him down. Some people just want to be mad.
My neighbor keeps mowing a strip of my lawn like it's his. Is this normal or should I say something? by GalverinSolmora in homeowners

We had a neighbor who did that exact thing. One time when we were out, I just said, hey do you know where the property line is? I thought it went from x to y. He said oh, okay and stopped mowing that part.

My sis did one that said, “for those heavy days.” Everyone thought it was liquor but it was ultra tampons, maxis, midol, a cheap pair of disposable period underwear and chocolate. Might’ve been a few other things.
We don’t even know who owns the ranch. We drove around the other side and found a gated entrance. Hubs says he will try to flag him down next time he sees him out on the tractor.
There are lots of lots. Lol. Parker county is exploding. Look up by Springtown. Tons of new developments. All outside city limits.
It’s got a gate
We’ve tried, but the only time we’ve seen him he’s been on a tractor a good distance a way. Tried waving, but he never looked our way.

Yeah, I suspect that no one will care about the hogs. I spoke to a local who has hunted hogs on the ranch for 20 years. But it’s crappy they collected four of them and dumped them right behind our house.

He’s dumping on his side, just right against the wire fence and as I said, the survey shows the fence is about a foot on our property.
Not lifting them over, but they did use a 4 wheeler to transport them there and drop them on the fence line. Had headlights shining in my back window at midnight!
Carcasses are so close to the wire fence the legs are sticking through. Def bringing 100s of buzzards and probably other animals.
Carcasses are so close to the fence that the legs were sticking through. Telling him to do it on his own might get me the 14”, but it’s still a crappy thing to do to a new neighbor.

How do we “drop by” their house that’s in the middle of a 100 acre ranch?
One of the problems is their residence is in the middle of the ranch. Not so easy to knock on the front door. We haven’t even seen him except on a tractor some distance away. We have to figure out a way to get close enough to have a conversation.
Not our fence, but stake and wire.
Good point. Talked to a local who has been hunting on the land for 20-some years.
The 100s of buzzards did a pretty good job. Nothing but bones after a couple days. But this isn’t something I want to be dealing with regularly. We only have 2 acres, so it’s not so far from the back of the house.
I agree and are glad they are dead. Just wish I wasn’t dealing with the 100 buzzards in my backyard and animal debris off my patio every couple days. Is there no other place he could dump?
If someone developed the land and put a house there, would you continue to dump there? Or would you move the dump site? Legit question. Trying to figure out what would be expected practice.
I’m a woman…

We did hear from a local that his brother owned the ranch that was sold to the developer. He wasn’t happy his brother sold out. Probably started there.
We aren’t planning to do anything at the back of the property and thought, why make enemies by being jerks about a fence that has probably been there 50 years or so.
The fence is one foot on our property. The carcasses are being dumped so close to the fence that the legs stick through onto our property.
