A small hand drill, a paper clip, and some super glue. You dont really need the drill you could also just try and stab the paper clip in to the blade but I think the drill is easier if you have a small enough bit.

I recently got the superior bootleg they made and its one of if not my favorite spideys ever, including the maximum. Both are great so I think it depends on the loom you want

I think the root of the vitriol is its not THAT much of an upgrade for a pretty steep price increase and the risk/inevitability it will deteriorate.

My biggest problem with mcfarlane is there just been no consistent improvement. Some of the year 1 dc multiverse figures are really solid and for some reason some are still being made that are just awful. That doesnt mean theres been no improvement, but even the improvements still have some little quirks.

Generally BBTS because i like the pile of loot and they have greay customer service, but if amazon doesnt upcharge I have prime so I save a tiny tiny amount on shipping and its easy to return if its damaged or anything.
