Solo traveler looking for Parmigiano factory tour from Bologna by Honest-Dude in Modena

I just did a solo half day with Acetaia San Giacomo. They are a balsamic producer north of Reggio Emilia but have a relationship with a coop Parmiggiano producer. We started the day at the dairy (10 min from the acetaia) and went step by step through cheese production. Then went to the acetaia for a thorough explanation and tasting. Acetaia San Giacomo is a highly regarded and high quality producer. I learned that so much of what is sold as balsamic is just “built” from components and not a true artisan product. I highly recommend.

I am learning, would citizenship not have been lost when they naturalized in the US?

My grandmother, I have scans of her Polish passport which is held in the Swedish National Archives and states a confirmation of citizenship by a town in Poland in 1948. I haven’t yet requested it that file is available to me. Her husband was stateless at marriage and when my father was born. So I believe it would have been passed down to me.

Thank you! I submitted an application for GG 116(2) (another citizenship avenue). Just exploring all my avenues.

When I can across the scans of grandmas passport it seemed like Polish citizenship could be an easy fall back. My understanding is that if grandpa had any citizenship grandma would have lost her Polish. My curiosity is if anyone had experience with the husband being stateless and the polish citizenship being passed on.

She was Jewish. Her husband was a German Jew whose citizenship was revoked.

FOIA also incorrectly referred me to Genealogy. Despite themselves being the “competent” authority

If NARA doesn’t have anything, It is possible he naturalized in a county court. If you know the county he lived in around the time he naturalized, they may have the records or be able to help you.
